Hay
We are proud to offer two types of high quality hay: alfalfa timothy mix and 100% timothy hay.
Alfalfa timothy mix hay combines the superior in protein
alfalfa (reducing the necessity for alternative protein
supplements) with Timothy hay to provide a quality per-
formance horse feed. Together they provide a balance of
fiber with protein to optimize digestive health. Available
individually or in pallets of 24.
100% Timothy hay—a grass hay with the high roughage
content necessary to facilitate good digestion. The
consistent quality provides basic protein levels while
keeping the gut healthy. Available individually or in pallets
of 24.
Shavings
We specialize in the recovery of sawmill waste in an
endeavor to reduce our carbon footprint. Our shavings
are premium screened wood free of dust and debris—
compressed into weather resistant bags making them
ready to use and easy to handle. We offer a course or fine
product, both an excellent choice for animal bedding and
absorbing moisture. Available individually or in pallets
(minimum 25/pallet, maximum 45/pallet).
Straw
Simply Straw manufactures and processes wheat straw,
refining it into animal bedding. Simply Straw chops the
straw into small highly absorbent pieces and then puts
the straw into a dust extraction chamber to
remove the majority of dust, allergens, chaff, and other
foreign material. Each compressed bag is filled with
approximately 10 cubic feet of highly absorbent straw.
Available in coarse and fine cut. Available individually or
in pallets (minimum 25/pallet, maximum 45/pallet).
Pellets
North Country Softwood Pellets are 100% natural wood
pellets. Low ash and low moisture, wood pellets are
made from wood shavings dried and then compacted
into pellets. Pellets function as a natural antiseptic and
produce a light and fluffy bedding for horses and other
livestock.
